There comes a time in everyone’s lives when it makes sense to take a step back. You don’t have to say that “pulling out at the right time is a victory too,” because you’re not throwing in the towel. Rather, you’re putting things on hold or taking a break for a while.
You need time to forgive certain situations that have come about in your relationship and that could have lead you to set your sights on someone else. You’ll have a lot of doubts when it comes to love, but your heart isn’t willing to pull draw the curtain on a show that’s not over yet.
The fact that your coworker will be on leave just means more work for you; so much that you don’t know how you’ll handle it. The feeling that there aren’t enough hours in your workday will follow you from the time the day starts, and you’ll see how the hands on the clock seem to move even more quickly than usual.
This happens when we have too much work: losing our sense of time is much easier than when we’re bored. Knowing that the weekend is just around the corner won’t bring you any relief, because there are tasks that you just won’t be able to get to.
Your efforts to achieve work-life balance will lead you to become incredibly exhausted. By the end of the day, you’ll be totally wiped out, and you won’t even have enough energy to get your pajamas on.
You’ll just want to rest, and that’s totally understandable at this point in a totally overwhelming week. Don’t feel frustrated if you’ve had to take frequent breaks at your workplace.
Eat foods that will provide you with as much energy as possible. You may also want to drink things that contain caffeine; normal amounts of course. These drinks will help you to stay active and keep your head clear. If you can eat nuts this will also help to improve your state.
